Enjoying what you do as a micro provider is important — having the right tools makes it so much easier. Here's everything that will come with your membership when we launch in autumn 2026 — with more added all the time.
See pricing at launchAbout the screens below: these are design mock-ups of the product we're building, shown with example data. The client names, visits, care records and figures are invented for illustration — they are not real people and not real records.
The dashboard will be where you get general headline information about the state of your business and the day ahead. Useful on those busy days.
Keeping client details safe and secure is important, and so is keeping them up to date. From launch, you'll be able to store everything in one organised place.
Probably one of the hardest things micro providers find is keeping track of visits. No more bits of paper — from launch, you'll keep everything in one place.
From launch, you'll see the driving time and distance from your base to each client, mapped on OpenStreetMap — so you can plan your day around where everyone is, and turn the miles into mileage on your invoices and expenses.
Getting paid on time usually means getting invoices out on time. From launch, you'll be able to create invoices in a few clicks — straight from your logged visits.
From launch, you'll log expenses and mileage as you go — DBS, insurance, training, your phone and more — each sorted into the categories HMRC uses, so your income and costs stay in one tidy digital record, ready when tax time comes around. Which costs you can actually claim depends on your circumstances; check with HMRC or an accountant.
Knowing your availability helps you plan ahead. From launch, the availability tracker will keep it in one view, so you always know where there's room.
From launch, you'll get records and stats on the most crucial aspects of your work — clients, visits and hours — so you can see how your business is doing.
Good documentation is vital as a micro provider. From launch, these templates will help you deal with unexpected issues — complaints, for example — and each one will fill in your business name, address and contact for you, ready to adapt and share.
These are starting points for you to review and adapt to your own service. Using a template doesn't by itself make you compliant — responsibility for your policies and your practice stays with you.
Person-led support levels across every care domain, with a full change history.
Rate risk across moving & handling, falls, environment and more — with control measures.
Mark bruises, wounds or pressure areas on a body diagram, front and back.
A digital MAR — record meds as given or refused, with a timestamped log.
Track meals and drinks with a running daily fluid total.
A clear service agreement per client — hours, rate and status, ready to sign.
When a client's family, advocate or social worker can see what's happening — yesterday's visit, that breakfast was eaten and medication was taken — care stays accountable. Not as a confrontation, but as something normal and routine. From launch, sharing will support the safeguarding practice you already follow; it doesn't replace it.
Many micro providers earn below the Making Tax Digital thresholds, which means one Self Assessment return a year. MTD for Income Tax is being phased in by qualifying income: over £50,000 from April 2026, over £30,000 from April 2027, and over £20,000 from April 2028. From launch, keeping your income and expenses in MicroProviders Care will give you a running estimate and everything your return needs — sorted by HMRC category — and will switch to quarterly MTD updates if your income passes the threshold.
Please note: Tax figures and thresholds on this page are general information, not tax advice, and the estimates the product produces are a planning aid rather than a return. Thresholds and dates change — check your own position with HMRC or an accountant.
Example figures, shown to illustrate the screen — not a forecast of what you would earn. Any estimate is a planning aid; you file online with HMRC or your Self Assessment software.
More ways to get paid can only be a good thing — send invoices that let your clients pay online.
Push your invoices and payments straight through to Xero, so your bookkeeping stays in sync — no double entry.
