The terms that apply when you use the MicroProviders Care website.
Last updated 19 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MicroProviders Care website (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
MicroProviders Care is operated by Skette Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12508096, whose registered office is at Unit 29 Highcroft Industrial Estate, Enterprise Road, Waterlooville, PO8 0BT. You can contact us at info@microproviders.care.
We are building software that helps self-employed care micro providers manage their clients, visits, invoicing and records. The product launches in autumn 2026 — until then, this Site is here to explain what's coming and to let you register your interest. We provide software tools; we do not provide care, we do not assess or supervise any care provider, and we will not be a party to any arrangement between a provider and their clients.
You agree not to:
Descriptions of the MicroProviders Care product on this Site — including the features and pricing shown on our Pricing page — describe what we plan to offer from launch. They are provided for information and are not a contractual offer; details may change before launch. When the product launches, subscriptions will be governed by service terms presented at sign-up.
When you use our contact or register-interest forms, you agree to provide accurate information. We use the details you submit as described in our Privacy Policy. Registering your interest does not commit you to anything — it simply lets us tell you when we launch, and you can ask us to remove you from the list at any time.
The content on this Site — including our blog articles, our Getting Started guide and our CQC registration walkthrough — is general information to help self-employed care providers, not legal, financial, tax, insurance or regulatory advice. Requirements can change and depend on your circumstances, so always confirm with the relevant authority (such as CQC or HMRC) or a qualified professional before acting on it.
In particular: the CQC walkthrough is a simplified guide and is not a determination that your service does or does not need to be registered — only CQC can decide that, and providing a regulated activity without registering is a criminal offence. Tax figures, thresholds and any estimates the product produces are a planning aid, not a tax return or tax advice. Whether you are genuinely self-employed depends on how you actually work, and a client who engages you directly may have obligations as an employer — take advice if you are unsure. Any policy or document templates we provide are starting points to review and adapt; using them does not by itself make you compliant with any legal or regulatory obligation, and responsibility for your policies and your practice remains yours. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any action taken in reliance on the general information on this Site.
The Site links to external websites, such as government and regulator resources. We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party sites, and linking to them does not imply endorsement.
We work hard to keep the Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
The Site, including its software, design, branding and content, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when the product launches. The latest version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have any questions about these Terms, email us at info@microproviders.care.
